About Me

I gained my First-Class BA Honours Degree in Teaching and Learning from Edgehill University in Liverpool, whilst working full-time at an inner-city primary school. I have worked with children for over 20 years and have developed my teaching style through having to think on my feet and adapt to suit the setting and the student. 

The past six years as a private tutor have enabled me to do things my way and achieve great things for the kids I have tutored. The opportunity to work so closely with struggling students and the need to quickly bring others up-to-speed for exams has put me in a unique situation, which I have fully embraced.  
Most importantly, I have been able to put all my experience into developing my own teaching resources which now sell all over the world.   

It makes me very happy indeed when I get feedback on my reading resources telling me that they are helping struggling and dyslexic students to learn to read.  Knowing that I can now reach struggling students far away from me is a wonderful feeling indeed.
